The urban sombrero!

Seinfeldt! Vilket genialt program.

40s Celebration Blouse

He was finally back.

They didn’t know each other before he left.

Not really.

A whirlwind courtship.

A passionate honeymoon, and then the tearful goodbyes.

When he came back, she was all decked out in red and rhinestones to greet him.

It wound up draped over the bed post.

40s Celebration Blouse

(In the middle of the night it somehow found a padded hanger.)

They were getting to know each other again.

True, there would be time to see if they liked the same books, the same movies, the same people, but that could wait.

1947 Dress.

1947 Dress

The most flattering dress of the 20th century.

Full, sweeping skirt and shaped bodice, for artful emphasis on legs, hips, waist, and bust.

Rita Hayworth wore it. Coeds and secretaries wore it. Your mother wore it. Women looked wonderful in it.
Still do. And always will.

Unless the female form undergoes some kind of radical transformation.

1947 Dress

Long-Sleeve 1947 Dress (No. 1732) for warm weather, deliverance from the boxy, skimpy cut of WWII utility fashions. Pure cotton, with the same swinging sweep and sash ties as the short-sleeved version. Same V-neck bodice, darts at bust, and waist. Same notched collar to stand up pertly, if you wish. Three-quarter sleeves.

This one definitely belongs in your closet.
